Following is an status update sent to PKWSC Board Member Ruth White to from the PKWSC:

Ruth,

There was severe damage done to the Gaines Bend stand pipe. As soon as the roads are open on a long term basis, I have a structural engineer ready to come in and inspect for any structural damage. If there is no structural damage, John Vauler with E-ht will come in to start the process of finding the extent of damage to the paint system. It is my contention that it will need to be completely sand blasted and repainted . Also as you might imagine, all of the electronics and telemetry will need to be replaced.

Two weeks ago I installed a sprinkler system at the pump station, and have been running it frequently for landscaping. The fire made a perfect perimeter around the outside fence of the pump station. There was no damage done there.

I have everything ready to move on the standpipe as soon as the roads open up. I haven't even been able to get my staff in.

I have been here on the lake (West Side and East Side) since Monday the 11th and heve been very busy. I have put in close to 200 hours in the last 9 days, witch is why it took me so long to respond. I apologise for that. But, Justin is here today and he will be giving me a hand with things. So I will try to have a more prompt response if you need anything else today.
