PK Lake Association & The BRA-TCEQ Water Permit Application
In 1971, the PK Lake Association "PKLA" was formed as a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of Possum Kingdom Lake. The PKLA is as passionate about the PK Lake community as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices | Pondera Properties is! Over the years, the PKLA has been involved in a number of local issues, including the BRA land divestiture, but perhaps none as important as the current issue facing our lake: The BRA's request to sell over 1 million acre-feet of water in addition to the 400,000 acre-feet it is already allowed to market.
This page is dedicated to keeping you informed about the current status of this water permit application and the PKLA's efforts on behalf of the Possum Kingdom Lake community - if you are not currently a member, please consider joining today.
